DESIS imagery (14th June 2021) of intensive agriculture in Eastern Bavaria, Germany, from true color representation over false color infrared to an advanced processing result (left to right). The lower right section represents the 3-band output of a spectral integral analysis. The RED band is sensitive to vegetation carotenoid content, the GREEN band to chlorophyll content, and the BLUE band to water content. This type of representation enables a completely new ans simultaneous perspective on three very important plant traits and their specific compositions.

Before submitting an abstract, you need to be registered.
Please submit a short abstract (max. 2 pages) summarizing your DESIS study on simulated or real spaceborne imaging spectroscopy data or related topics. The guidelines for authors preparing an abstract can be found at ISPRS-Orangebook: Appendix 5.

To present an accepted submission, the presenting author has to register via the registration link provided at this webpage .
We will provide for accepted authors a preliminary technique check.
During registration, we kindly ask you to give the full and correct information in the required fields, which includes the information about multiple Nationalities. Upon the completion of the registration process, an electronic confirmation of the registration will be generated by the system and automatically sent to the e-mail address provided by the user, this entitles to participate at the virtual 1st DESIS User Workshop.
Full Paper Submission
The deadline for full paper submission will be the 15th of October 2021.

The workshop regular sessions format foresees 10 minutes for each presentation, followed by a 5 minutes Q&A session.
Please join the conference 20 minutes before the scheduled beginning of your session. Check in within the conferencing system to the “alfaview technical support” room, where our technical support will help you setting up your microphone, webcam, and screen sharing function.
